Hi,
I am new to raising chickens and am not having much luck finding chicks to start with. I would like to start with day old Rhode Island Red chicks. I am looking for a place that would be able to sell me three chicks. I would also like to be able to pick them up myself and not have them shipped to the post office. Does anybody know of any local farms that would be able to offer this? I live in central Pennsylvania, Lancaster area, but am willing to drive 2-3 hours to pick the chicks up. I am also looking for anything that would be available around January or February, as we are currently building the Brooder and Chicken coop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
