When you say "average" R.I. Red I assume you mean hatchery or hatchery type and when you say Heritage R.I. Red do you mean from a breeder/ show quality?

I have 3 RIR now and all is was told is that they are RIR.
Just hatched 9 Heritage RIR that I got from Bargain on here just was wondering what differences I should look for.

Ah come on William, show'em the difference between a hatchery RIR ( production Red) and your real SQ heritage RIRs.

I would like to see a pic of a SQ RIR and hear if the lay rate of a hatchery bird can be matched by a well bred SQ bird. Right now I have two hatchery RIR babies in the flock to access whether or not I like them well enough to invest in quality birds.
