I Had RIRs and the hens were the friendliest birds, they would run to every deliveryman that came into the yard the rooster was fine with everyone except me. I would tease him with my foot and we would tussle. He would ambush me everynight when I came home from work. No real meaness though.

The RIR's I've had aren't as friendly as others I've had like barred rocks and buff orps but they laid bigger eggs. This is my first season with white leghorns and they haven't started to lay yet but when I am done with them I will never own white leghorns again. They are just way too skittish for me.
