My birds started laying at about 20 to 24 weeks. I have both Rose Comb and Single Comb. The SC aren't recognized by the APA but the RC are. I show the RC.

Thanks for the information... I have added a picture of my RIW can you tell me if they are RC or SC, I am not sure what they should look like at this age.

They were attacked by an owl so one of the girls combs got severely damaged. My rooster also but his come healed better but the one girls was so torn up it will never be the same. Thank you the information. I will put the show on my calendar and now I just need to get my husband to build me another coop, I have a feeling we are going to fill this one up quicker than we thought.

I do have RC RIW's. I am only hatching in the spring. I don't have my breeding pens set up right now so I have my SC RIW's and RC RIW's in the same pen. I will separate them about a month before I hatch again which will be late winter early spring.
