Used 18-pack egg cartons free in West Greenwich

My egg carton source is out performing my flocks current performance, but I don’t want to stop the inflow.

So, I’ve got some extra used 18-pack egg cartons (mix of paper and plastic) I’m happy to share for free if you’re willing to pick them up.

I’m in West Greenwich between exits 6 and 6A off Rt 95. 4-5 min off the highway.

5/23/2020 - Free Baby Cereal in West Greenwich

I did my usual food waste pickup today, and they'd told me they had some expired baby cereal for me, and they weren't kidding.

I'm going to pick up the rest tomorrow (5/23) of the PALLET AND A HALF of baby cereal.

I'll be mixing with water and feeding to my flock.

I'm in West Greenwich. If you'd like to come pick some up on SATURDAY, MAY 23, send me a PM and I'll shoot you my address. And by some...I mean, please come fill your trunk. I'd happily part with MANY cases for whoever wants it!

Hello!
I am in RI and I was wondering if someone in RI might be rehoming or selling a rooster? Mine was just killed by fox (protecting his hens) and I was hoping to get a new adult roo to be with my hens. Thank you!

This was years ago, but would you like a couple bantam roos?
3 months old. A white silkie and a golden sebright. Or know anyone who does?
I can’t keep cockerels. I’ve been looking for a new house for almost 3 years now! The market stinks! I really want to have be able to have roosters where I live next.

Extra Eggs?

I typically end up with a few dozen eggs, even after we eat out share (or more than our share), and give some to family and neighbors.

One of the local churches here in West Greenwich runs a food pantry, so I dropped them an email to see if they'd accept backyard eggs. They said they'd be happy to, and yesterday we dropped off 3 dozen.

They're only open a few days a month (Tuesday of the third full week of the month), but next month, I plan to bring more eggs.

Wanted to let folks in RI know in case they were in my neck of the woods and wanted a way to do some good with their excess eggs!

I love that you do that!! This is exactly what I want to do when I find a house and am able to have more chickens!
I think feeding people who are hungry is such a wonderful thing!
