Ribh's D'Coopage

So glad Suyin has improved so much! I love your descriptions of the dynamics in your flock!đź’ž Hopefully you won't have to keep them in jail for too long! I was sure glad I could release Spazzy girl within 24 hours!
I think Medh thinks she's on a winner being in the little coop. She's a bit of a loner anyway & for a Campine, really quiet.

Wow...that is so beautiful! đź’ž
The winter sunrises are better. here. :) In summer the colour is more to the south & obscured by trees. The colours are usually richer in winter too.

what's up bro's I am new here so can you show me around
:frow Hello Courtney!

We have great talks on this thread. We talk about chooks and coops as well as crafts and books.

Do you have chooks yet? We'd love to hear about them and we all love photos. :love

As best as the neighborhood rumor mill knows, a couple of kids got these chicks from tractor supply and hid them from their parents. How they managed that, I have no idea. Once the parents found the birds they were quickly placed outside to fend for themselves. This only was a for a few days until my neighbor saw them in her bushes.

She then saw some big kids throwing rocks and sticks at them. She got them into her garage and then come by my place to see if I'd take them since I already had chickens. Rich immediately said bring them over. She brought them both over wrapped in a towel and have been here ever since.

It is clear they were not fed chick fed. They didn't know what a feeder or chicken fed was. All they would eat was food scraps, bread and grass. I finally have them eating proper fed.
Oh dear, poor chicks!
I'm so glad your neighbour found them in time.

I hope those big kids got a good talking to and change their ways! :rant

I'm in trouble! My neighbor lady asked me to marry her (Long story, but I said in all fairness NO):idunno I crash and burn on relationships!
Truly? Congratulations on your eligibility!

Would Jaffar get jealous of another person in the house? (I'm so glad he is feeling better too)

A very interesting lesson there not learnt by the Romans, or many other armies throughout the centuries. One that springs to mind is the German invasion of Russia attempted overland. The Irish came by boat and arrived in more than one place at a time I believe.
Huh! I didn't know that the Irish had invaded Russia!

...I'll just leave now...
