Well, there's a first. I state opinions like this & I usually get shot down in flames. By comparison to some periods of history the 21st century is idyllic! Not perfect by any means but a lot better than almost any other time in history that I can think of off hand.

I keep telling my two how lucky I've been to be born when I was.
Such a shame that our generation has made such a mess of things. I can't find an excuse for it.
I can't thin those having to live through the next 50 years are not going to have such an easy time.

Beatha is an interesting looking hen. She reminds me of one of the Muppet creatures from "The Dark Crystal". I think it's because her beak looks so prominent as she doesn't have a comb.

Waiting for the rain and it arrived after they had gone to roost luckily, but as usual I got caught out in it when closing up. Hail, thinder and lightning would you beleive.

I love these cavey thickets ~ & I bet the chickens do too. Can I ask what makes them? I'm guessing a bramble of some sort...?
