Oh yes! We've had this conversation several times now. In Oz everything gets abbreviated. In Britain this would be a travelling rug. Us Aussies shortened it to just a rug.
You Americans call everything by the wrong names.

The broody breeds I sort of expect ~ though mine are pretty chronic ~ but what's with the others? 
Well, we can commiserate together. Basically I always have a good 3rd of my flock broody & out of action!I know they are, I'm sorry!

That's probably true but it was a terrible shock. The flock was in a really nice place & very settled. Now I have broodies popping up like jack~in~the~boxes.I doubt there’s anything you could have done. I’m sorry.
I know the reason, they love the home you provide for them so much, they know it would be a great place to raise some littles!
Shad says the same but it doesn't alter the fact our eggs aren't fertile [I'm not allowed a rooster] & there's no point letting any of my girls sit.
