That is very interesting. So the inner piece pivots when you pour right?\
Is it an antique store find (in which case do you know anything about how old it is, where it is from etc.?), or is it a modern design.
I love it either way - but it is a fascinating mechanism I have never seen before.
That's interesting! I'd have been encouraging you had I been there
Thanks for the teapot love everyone. This is really neat. I hate the taste of tea but I do like all the neat pretty things & little rituals that go with it. Thank you for showing us how this one works.
Oh Ribh, you are a fraud and a big softy. That is Olivia. She is a D'Uccle frizzle & didn't get the memo about being a chicken. She likes to roost on me & has been known to groom me. She's broody just now & I miss her.
She says that all the time. But I think all people with lap chickens say that.Oh Ribh, you are a fraud and a big softy.
I seem to remember someone saying long ago that they didn't want lap chickens....
Beautiful pictures as always RC.Happy Caturday from my whole tribe.

That is terrible.I have some terrible news...
A coyote helped itself to all 3 chooks in my silkie pen and both of my Phoenix. I'm absolutely devastated.
My layer flocks is fine thankfully.
I found 13 girls in that photo. Some were disguised as boulders. The girls milling round deciding whether iit's dark enough to go to bed yet.View attachment 2962098
I have 18 hens @ present. 5 are broody. Sif is still immobile & Soda wanders off on her own..I found 13 girls in that photo. Some were disguised as boulders.
How many in your flock again at the moment Ribh?
The obvious answer is“Why do you keep drawing pictures of people with no clothes on?”
