Koffee Klatch Wednesday Wherever a day early in the states

We are actually having Koffee Klatch this morning. For the first time all year.

That is a fantastic shot! You should turn it into a poster.
Or a jigsaw puzzle if it is high enough resolution

Wyandottes honk.
They do? I'll have to go talk to Ana and Sofia (Columbian), Elizabeth (Gold laced) and Victoria (Silver laced). My different chicken breeds to make different noises but I've never heard anything that sounded like a honk.

There should be a new courtesy: request meetings in writing and preferably with a meeting maker that goes into the calendar automatically.
Novel idea. Used to be a standard thing.

Good evening folks :frow

I'm the same as Bob, send me an invite that doesn't conflict with anything else. When I get an invite that does conflict (i.e., they didn't use scheduling assistant) I just decline it.
The best plan. I also think one should send an email with a bit of info about the content of the meeting. Sometimes you can save the longer meeting time with a phone call.

WEDNESDAY WHEREVER.
The unicorn blocks was finished with a deep border, which I think goes surprising well with it . I am now working a moss stich from a cake. I am liking this one. It is working up fast. The stitch is easy & it's not full of big holes, as crotchet patterns tend to.

That requires math, MJ.:lau I have no idea how to work out percentages. When I say I am numerically challenged I mean it. I can't be relied upon to add up simple numbers straight, let alone do more complicated problems. How I manage money horrifies most people. It requires cash & lots of little piles.

At present I am allocating 2 days a week to each subject. Left over time goes to the closest assignment.
I haven’t listened to this episode yet, but the text “the math disability that no-one’s heard of” caught my eye and I thought of you. Don’t know if it’s relevant but thought it might be worth a listen.

Yep. I have heard of it & always wondered if that's my problem. Like Dyslexia it seems to manifest in different forms with different people. Most teachers haven't heard of it but it is debilitating & calculators are a godsend for people like me even for simple math. Anything complicated & I can't even remember the procedure so can't apply it on the calculator. Pages of figures are so overwhelming I can become physically ill. And like a dyslexic I have a whole heap of hacks to get around mathematically. For me, I don't learn in *straight lines* ~ which is how math operates. I tend to see the big picture & work backwards from that & that doesn't work for math.
