Thank you, @fuentemoon. So long as I'm not driving everyone nuts I will share. Today I found a lovely archaeological talk on Brodgar Ness, which has @ least 3 layers of buildings in places, so guaranteed to drive the archaeologists insane as they only get 6 weeks a year to excavate the site. Again, it is insanely old & the architectural work is astounding but they were nearly down to the floor so if I can find something more recent, what this huge complex was actually used for may be evident. Apparently the waterworks Dept put a pipe through the middle of the site before excavations began & never batted an eyedlid ~ which is what happens when everyone's backyard is littered with prehistory. 🙄

Ps get degrees! ;)
I'm not sure what you think I should get degrees in 🤔 but it definitely won't be in math or science. 🤣 My mother says I should have stuck with English; no-one's quite sure what the writing's about & no-one understands the archaeology. My mother, having been to Greece, was appalled to find all those lovely ancient Greek buildings have been covered in modern graffiti. It's rather put her of Archaeology but graffitti is not a problem in Orkney ~ only govt depts!!! 🙄🤣

Me too, lovely little amphitheaters filled with trash 😥

@LozzyR : How are the rest of your frizzles doing? I am having trouble keeping up with my own thread, let alone anyone else's, so if you have updated on Bob's I've missed it. :(
They seem to be doing well and also seem to have worked out they don’t have to wait for me to let them out! Nyssa did have them squished up against the wall this evening, but I moved them across to the towel and demoted Nyssa to the lower roost. Tegan was on the floor again but I have set up an elaborate second duck walk which she ignored until I put her on it. She then walked up and settled on the lower roost as well.

I also got two used tyres yesterday and repurposed them as dirt baths. Nice sandy soil, but no-one’s used it yet. They might when they’re shut up in the run for the day.
