Ribh's D'Coopage

Some cats are fine with it but they typically have either been raised using one or have been very slowly acclimatized to it.
I tried.
My little guy was good with the harness. He slept in it. It smelled of him. He was a happy guy trotting around in it.
We sat on the sofa together and I thought we would try walking on the leash.
I reached for the leash to attach to his harness and there was the harness still on the sofa. Sans cat!
He knew somehow. And so he simply extracted himself from the harness.
I gave up.
What a clever kitty. 😆

Happy Caturday (it’s still Caturday (just!))

The cold snap has pretty much dealt with the broodies.
Everyone is looking for the sun.
When I got here the basil was decimated by grasshoppers & katydids so no real help for the tomatoes. The chooks have dealt with the katydids. They have taken out the lower leaves but now the tops are super healthy. They can't reach the tomatoes which are all @ the top of the trellis.

Under the fruit trees is where everyone spends most of their days. The pumpkin is ramparting but who eats cumquats? I don't think even the chooks will touch those & please don't suggest marmalade as I have no way to make it, not having a kitchen.

They look quite happy and I'm glad they have helped deal with the rampaging insects.

Um, what do you eat if you have no kitchen?
There is a microwave & things like a toaster, portable hot plate, electric frypan...It's not ideal but I can cook a meal. I can't bake anything & I don't think the portable hotplate would hold up up for jam making. I hate cooking so it works for me.
