@Aussie-Chookmum : this is sort of what I had in mind. It runs the length of the road with a variety of flowering, bird attracting natives.

I have kitties too!! lol

This is Marigold, she was born at my friend's farm. She was about 6 weeks old and developed pneumonia. I caught her and took her to the vet, they didn't think she would make it, but here she is. My little fighter!

My other kitty is Taz, he too was born at a friend's farm. I was going through a really tough time and she showed up at my house and dropped him and a bag of kitten food off with Rich and said it was for me so I would keep smiling. Of course Rich didn't say no and kept it a surprise until I got home from work that day.

And you have a rehead too! My youngest is red.
They are seriously beautiful kitties.

Both of my two are red headed

It was a complete surprise as neither DH or I are. Though DH had a red beard, my Mum-in-law used to have red hair and my grandfather did too.

I'm very partial to red hair and notice it all the time now

Such a nice story and pretty cats. Ok, true confessions... When I married Sue nearly 40 years ago, I was totally anti cat and she was totally a cat person (still is btw). So one day I take the dog into the vet for routine stuff and the vet is giving away kittens with free vet care for life. I took one home for Sue. He was a Tabby... He traveled too... Lived in Louisiana where he was born, then Japan, Florida, Saudi, and Virginia. He lived to be 18 and acted more like a dog than a cat. He was happy to take on any stray dog and win. He totally changed my viewpoint on cats.

I'm very partial to red hair and notice it all the time now

I got 2 red~heads out of 5 & all the boys grow ginger beards. I was strawberry blonde for a while & I always tell DH I married him for his hair; it was a glorious red gold, long & wavy when I first knew him. It's a recessive gene so both partners have to carry it for it to turn up ~ all that Scot's ancestry!

What a great cat story. Cats are amazing and like chickens each one is different in personality and temperament. I glad Twiki showed you how cool they can be.
