She is indeed a large cat. Large even for lady Maine Coons.

They're going feral on me.
Mind you, Tootsie demanded in, wandered round the house seemingly uninterested in laying so I put her out. She demanded in, so in she came, headed to her spot & peace reigned for all of 20 minutes. The next thing I knew, she had wandered into the bedroom & was screaming @ me from under my feet. What does she want? Her wing held while she lays?
Out she went. Frantic banging against the glass door so in she came again. Rinse & repeat.
I did finally get an egg. Such a strange little chicken.

She is just looking for a good nest site. She needs her rooster, that's you @Ribh, to find her a suitable nesting location.

But I do. I pop her in her laying spot. I think k she thinks I should stay with her but she takes forever. Can't keep her mind o the job.
