Ribh's D'Coopage

I have a couple that need no encouragement! 🤣 The kitchen, however, is @ the back of the house, which is elevated due to the lie of the land & they will have about 20 steps to navigate to get up there!:gig
I doubt that would even slow them down.

Many of the terraced houses one might see in British films have front doors that lead straight into the living room.
Many houses here have doors that open into the living room directly but there is a hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Happy Caturday

This is my desk while I was trying to work.

Step 1: Find a old tower computer.

Step 2: Turn it on and make a cat friendly space close to the exhaust.

Step 3: Watch as your cat checks it out and gets cozy next to it instead of in annoying spot.

Step 4: Watch the cat get up, walk away, and plop down on your keyboard instead.

A couple of thoughts. Get one section first in case you find it is too flimsy you haven’t shelled out in multiple segments.
How will you stop predators getting underneath the edges? And more generally, how does it anchor to the ground? It looks like it could handle a gentle slope but not big steps up and down.
I like the concept though. I originally thought something like that would be good for me but in the end I just went with electric fence.
Yes, it's the open coop concept I find attractive, especially for a much warmer climate where even the winters don't get terribly cold.

Well remember where I live it can get down to -23°C in the winter so walls that seal were essential to survival. You could not survive the night in a veranda with blinds.
Oh, I had remembered. I just find it strange you have never run into the American version of the hall~less house. šŸ˜„

There is an old HP tower in there. He was getting on the shelf above it.

Oddly not even in the deep south. I have just never seen one. I guess I'm not as worldly as I thought I was.
