My girls have been pretty healthy for some time so I've had no qualms about doing a 9 hour transit with them.
So imagine my horror to get up this morning to find Portia had the staggers & was loath to move. Naturally the Amprolium had already been packed. I did remember which box but yards of tape had to be undone & redone. Last time I saw her moving about she was perfectly normal again & has gone to lay but everyone is getting dosed as we've had another abnormally wet week.
At least it's only another couple of days before I can move them & the new yard should be clear of nasties as the last owner didn't keep chickens.

Staggers= walking like a drunk & falling over. Definitely  not broody.
