Ribh's D'Coopage

Yall, I met a boy named Kevin yesterday and it was love at first site! I was about to steal him from his owner :gig... that is, if I could figure out a way to smuggle a 20 something lb. cat out without being noticed! He was HUGE!!... biggest cat I’ve ever seen in person! His paws were like a Labs .... he is a Maine Coon! Now I want one!!
Pic is not good as I had to take it with my tablet from my phone... View attachment 1926363
He is stunning! I love a big floofa! I don't think I've ever seen a Maine Coon out here. I'd love to own one!

I had the same thing with my giant blue egg.. I cooked it this morning and double yolk! I posted over at Bobs place.. will have to post the yolk... I love the giant eggs.. but poor gals
yeah ~ & I worry about getting the super large ones. It's not good for them, poor things. :(

Luuuuuccckkkyy!!
I should like to pack them up & send them to you. They are a nasty, vicious bird if ever I met one. Not a big fan of the parrot family per se but cockatoos are the pits. They can be very human aggressive & as bad as a rooster, going for the face & eyes. I actively encourage most of our native birds but not these guys. I want them a long, long way away from me. :D

Oh wow! I didn’t know that.. I know you did say they were destructive... but it would still be so cool to have parrots as a native bird... just flying around! I guess cuz here they are only pets...

Don't get me wrong. I love them in the wild where they belong. I don't like people encouraging them because they are smart & strong. A nip from their beak can break the skin. Their talons can do a lot of damage & not much scares them.

How do yall like my cute fall pillows..? This was a runner that I bought and had my neighbor sew them into throw pillows...

Because I don't have a blow dryer I've been putting off doing this but all the talk of fly strike & I knew I had to act before our heat really kicks in ~ & what a job it was.

I've never been so glad my girls are easy to handle!
No, she wasn't happy but she didn't panic either.

First I had to shear her butt feathers. My goodness! Much, much worse than I thought she was, poor girl.
She's such a fluffball it's hard to know what's going on back there.

Then into the nice warm water & a good scrub around the nether regions.

She is in a box inside, out of that nippy little wind & nice & warm to finish drying off.
