I have visions of a giant, gentle chicken.....

I don't get to experience my chooks like I did. I feel like I've lost all the connections that I once had...

I'm so sorry to hear that CL. Anxiety and depression are our family curse too. My daughter and I are on medication for it and it has really helped. I notice if I forget to take my meds it will descend all at once. Like getting hit in the face with a big, wet, smelly depression fish

Ever since I had to fence them in because of the neighbors it's not been the same. I can't even let them out for an hour while I watch them. I tried it once and the neighbor immediately called the boro. The chickens weren't even in her yard.

Ooooh that makes me cross on your behalf!

Any chance of getting a dividing fence?

Same same ~ minus the snow of course. My chair is *The Rooster's Chair* & never gets pooped on.

I have a cement stool, shaped like a mushroom, at each end of my chook runs. They must be the wrong shape for perching or something because there is never chook poop on them.
