For non~Aussies. This is what our fire crisis looks like.
The red ones are our newest fires. Wind & heat in many states is not helping the situation.

I had an email first thing this morning. They were quite pleased with it.

The top state on the eastern seaboard is Queensland. You can just see Brisbane is marked. We are east of there.

MJ is down south where it is hotter but has fewer fires @ present & AussieChook mum is in NSW. This is why Butterscotchbites finger is on high alert. There are fires all over the place all round NSW.

The good news this morning: Lavender was out in the pen with everyone else instead of skulking in a nesting box & needing to be put out in the run on her own. Hopefully her hormones have settled down too & she will stop being so mean to everyone!
