Do the blue eggs taste any different?I won't have that many more...And I am hoping to start moving my flock into just one or two similar breeds because sadly I think Shadrach is right. I'm hoping the Campines & Aracaunas work well together. They seem to have similar temperaments... that will give me blue & white eggs.

It took about six weeks to dig the hole, level the grade, concrete the floor and get the walls up and roof on with my house. That was with two local builders and myself working. I did something really stupid and had a heart attack in week six. Doing the rest of the work went a lot more slowly. Roughly, you could build a house like mine in three months very easily.
Tbh, no one in my real life understands my chicken obsessionso I'm very grateful for you lot.
