Ribh's D'Coopage

We moved my baby chooks (almost 8 weeks old) into their new coop tonight.
There is only a chicken wire fence separating their new run from my big girls run. It will be interesting to see how they behave tomorrow!
Exciting! :) :fl all goes well.

After weeks of showery, overcast days we have a glorious Autumn morning this morning. All the girls followed me to the end of the run when I went out to check on them first thing & chatted to me through the wire. Everyone is getting quite vocal. Even the Campines are starting to vocalise ~ though I may regret that before we're done. :)

So all the big girls into the outside run. Multiple feed stations set up. Multiple water tubs out with fresh water. I put fresh feed into the inside feeder because the 3 littlies often get the dregs. This way it is a much more even playing field & they are much calmer when it's just the 3 of them. I figure over the next hour everyone will find a sunny spot to bathe & all will be quiet on the chicken front.
