Morning chat with my girls.
Did a big spring clean today: Fresh sand; power hosed the entire coop; fresh bedding. I'll dump some mulch in the coop run too once I put the fresh stuff down. Still waiting on the coop totally drying out.

I hate to trouble you so but it still pains me. The wife reminds me all the time, "I said you could EEs for green eggs, I don't see any green eggs".

I ALMOST walked out of the feed store today with two more EE babies ... if the girl wasn’t there to literally push me away from them and tell me NO!! I’d have two more

Here is 3 days worth of work by my girls. Thank you very much ladies. Unfortunately they are essentially all the same color. I am having a real hard time telling them apart. Aside from the largest and darkest being Hattie's. They are not as interesting in color as I had planned.

Lovely eggs Bob. I can see a slight difference in colour, they look as hard to tell apart as my two "white" girls.

That's a very attractive basket though. Good for showing off your eggs!

Simple solution... get more chickens! A couple Polish cuties and a few more EE’s or maybe a solid Olive Egger cross like CCLxMarans? Guarantees some Green eggs... chicken math just kidding, really

I agree with Kris!

She started pushing for Polish again. It's too late in the year now. I don't know what next year will bring. I'm happy with the 4 but you just never know. I get weak at times.

Maybe just one more? My Alice's eggs are a greenish blue and she has a mop top a bit like a Polish.....

Of course she looks like a punk chicken in the rain

I've never traveled well. Prone to car sickness. Age has not helped. And I get soooo tired...It's a pain because I really enjoy exploring new places & trying new things.

I'm the designated driver in my family because I get so carsick ( and I'm a dreadful passenger) . I sympathize Ribh

Are you getting any rain up your way Ribh? We have had a good downpour down here. I was hoping you get some up north to help with the bushfires.

I think our climate doesn't help. I was never carsick in Europe ~ not even going over the Swiss Alps & I had to read in the car because John hates height, we had a right hand drive in a left hand country with no guard rails!!!! I've done scarier things but that one was pretty bad...

It was very satisfying ~ & the girls are thrilled. I also managed to plug all their escape routes so run time is now unsupervised.

Are you getting any rain up your way Ribh? We have had a good downpour down here. I was hoping you get some up north to help with the bushfires.

We had a spit & a promise last night but it's all rolled away today. If the wind would just stop for a bit we'd have a chance with the fires ~ even without rain. Rain would be good though. We need some.
