I love seeing your ladies. This special feeding you have with Lottie is very sweet.
I have been working with Aurora for a week now on "eating up". Without Maleficent around the older girls are paying a lot more attention to Aurora. I used to be able to feed her and Mal treats separate from the others and Maleficent would let her have some. Right now the older 2 come running anytime I try to give her something and push her out of the way.
When my Daisy (greatest hen ever) was little, Elphie did the same to her. Daisy's solution was to jump up. Onto me, a side table, whatever was around. Once up, Elphie couldn't reach her anymore.
I have Aurora getting up on the footstool right now and eating some. She's just not comfortable for an extended period. Of course she was comfortable enough to leave a present behind this morning!

That is a roost! Long and full of chickens! Wow. You have a very cool flock.

.. or what’s left of one... I find all of these things right around the same location.. under or near a pine tree in my yard.. I sure do love owls!!
She's so pretty! I love how the red is starting to come out in her.
