Ribh's D'Coopage

Well, Pepper has been broody again for the 3 or 4 days and is in Broody Jail again. :(

I was a bit worried that Alice was becoming broody too because I only have room for the one jail! She was on the perch with Edwina tonight though. Phew!

Dodged one there. :yesss:

I need a better camera.:(
I'm interested in taking some evening shots. I was trying for a shot this evening. Took 12, not one is any good. The camera is okay for daylight but it just can't cope with low light.
Because some of the chickens are offten moving in a group picture the shutter speed needs to be high enough to stop the movement. The camera of course registers low light and slows the shutter down.
Anyway, I can't afford on so I'm just moaning.
You do pretty well I think. I like the phone camera because it's so easy to keep the good shots & get rid of all the duds. The shutter speed seems quite fast too ~ though I've taken some real shockers!:gig

I know she was planning on visiting her mother, perhaps that is where she is. I do hope everything is ok with her as well.
Well done, CCCL! It pays to pay attention to my meanderings. I have indeed been with my mother, 85 & going strong. My OD with my mum.

So I've been with my mum for a few days. Got home just after lunch to find the girls going stir crazy & [apparently] fretting for their regular keeper. Bit of a worry that. Opened the gate to the run & everyone immediately hopped the fence & headed to all sorts of places they're not allowed. The monsoon has arrived so we are soaking wet everywhere. I cleaned the coop, changed the water & did our regular dinner session with Lottie in my lap & Ha'penny eating from my hand. I think the girls are happy to have me home. I missed them.
