I'm going to have to find a name for her. She's survived and she's a bit of a nutter much like her mum.

Beautiful.. especially those roos!Good evening folks
What beautiful Sunrises... I'm not a fan of weasels either, though the dog makes sure I don't have issues with them.
Here are pics of my birds, not all, just the ones willing to have their pic taken.

I don't. I take it personally. The site has some wonderful animal art apart from weasels.
I find it hard to condemn any creature for natural behviour.
I've been scared of monkeys, aspires, orangutans, etc. since I saw the Wizard of Oz as a young child. I still have nightmares about them. My family thinks it's funny. They give me monkey presents all the time. This ~ though there are animals I'm not a fan of: nearly all monkeys & apes. Orangutans would be the exception.
How did the turkey take a chunk out of your eye? There has to be a story there.Yup. You can read about the breed here: Livestock Conservancy. As for turkeys, well they are mostly like big feathered dogs. They love attention and are super curious. Imagine a meter tall bird setting in your lap wanting cuddles. When they go broody, well think of a snake. Sue's trying to get a vid of one of our 10# snakes. Depending on how dedicated the broody is you could quite possibly lose a hand trying to take those eggs. They're gentle pecks (aka I want attention) are not painful at all, but they're leave my eggs alone pecks are quite painful and can draw blood. Remember, I was the guy who had to explain to the city eye doc that yea, my turkey took a chunk out of my eye. Wasn't her fault, but it still happened. btw, the city doc was just beside himself trying not to laugh. He didn't know I already thought it was funny.
I was on my hands and knees cleaning out the hole where the gate pole goes and not paying attention to her. She gently pecked me on the head and I looked up at just the right time for the second peck to land in the white of my eye. No vision problems from it, but it did hurt a lot.How did the turkey take a chunk out of your eye? There has to be a story there.
Beautiful colorSpeaking of colours, one of my maples is putting on a show.
It is much more vivid than the photo shows though.

The Blue Mountains is a long collection of villages along the Great Western Highway which is surrounded by National Park. Although I live in a regular subdivision on 1/4 acre block I have 3 waterfalls within 20 minutes walk one after another.Just beautiful. It must be a wonderful place where you all reside.
