Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning folks :frow Sue woke up at 12:30 today. She opened her eyes, looked at me and smiled. She's talking a little and prefers to keep her eyes closed. But she stayed awake for more than two hours.
So happy to hear that. I am sure the sleep is helping her heal.
Wonderful news Bob. 🥰

I agree with @RoyalChick . Sleep is the best thing for her at the moment. It is amazing how the brain can recover. Wishing all the neuroplasticity Sue's way.

When she's well enough, give her our best wishes. You may even have some chick photos from Fluffy Butt Acres to show her!

Pleased to read Sue is awake at least. Do let us know what the doctors say when you get a chance.

Will do. They'll be running more tests on Tuesday. Our daughter came in from Virginia yesterday, so now we have someone there round the clock.
I think the change in policy from isolation to allowing 24/7 visiting and even 24/7 attendance by relatives was such a good move when they introduced it in the UK. It has shown to make a noticeable positive difference in patient recovery times.

I feel better knowing one of us is with her all of the time.

Off island today but trying to keep tabs on everyone from afar.
@rjohns39 & @BY Bob I hope you are having successful days. Thinking of you both from the Land Down Under.
