I’m so sorry to hear this... I pray she will heal quicklyGood morning folks.
I'm not sure but I think we can call today a bad day for sue. She had her MRI which showed multiple strokes since Saturday. She's running a fever and we don't know why. With all that said, she was more alert and talkative today.
Scooby sounds amazing!Scooby has become best friends with Rex, the black lab we rescued 3 months ago. Scooby really is very dog like!!

So good to hear, rj!Good morning folks
Today was a good day. Sue was awake and alert when I arrived. She took about an hour nap and then spent the rest of the day awake, alert and talkative. She will no longer allow me to hold her cup for her to drink, she'll hold it and manages it well. She still has her headache but she seems to be getting used to it and it not bothering her so much. She's regained full movement of her right arm and there's no droop to her face.
ETA: They did restart formula feeding her as she's not eating enough, but she's doing better every day and we're working with the kitchen so they don't send things she won't eat. She's terrified of choking so she chews everything forever. It takes about an hour and a half for her to eat a meal.
She had a tramatic stroke over 30 years ago. She is mostly recovered.Mrs BY Bob had a stroke?? I’m so sorry to hear that!![]()
Nice car. That will be great for you. Wow what a story about the blue Jay. What a good bird dog. You don't wasnt it putting teeth holes in the bird. I'm so glad it survivedGood morning all!! I'm slowly getting caught up with all the threads again, buy does that take time. LOL
Last night I picked up my new to me SUV. I'm so excited to have it! Now we can fit all 3 kids and both dogs in one car. It was a friend's car that she didn't need anymore.

Last night I was sitting outside relaxing after dark and Scooby pays me a visit. He drops something at my feet, now it's dark no lights on and all I see is a bit of white. I picked it up thinking it was a toy, it was not a toy, it was a fledgling Blue Jay!!
I run into the house with it, thinking it's going to be tore up and I'll need to try and save it. Nope! Not a feather out of place, not a scrape on him. I think Scooby found it and thought it was one of the chicks and brought it to me.
We have several pairs of Blue Jays in our trees so I'm sure it's one of theirs. I put him in my hanging basket by the basement door so his folks will find him. The parents feed in my back yard, so I'm sure they'll see him. I checked on him this morning and he was just perfect!!

I was on a video call with Anna and the only way to take his picture at that time was by screenshot.
We would all be a lot healthier if we chewed our food for longer apparently.Good morning folks

That is great news! I'm glad use of the arm has come back and the face droop is gone. It sounds very encouraging.Good morning folks

This is very familiar unfortunately. My advice is to try and take it day by day and not get too high on the good days and too low on the bad days. If you step back you will see the upward trend but it is easy to get caught up in what things are like that day.Bob has warned me that this is a roller coaster ride, I'm not certain I'm ready for it, but I don't really get a vote.
