Ribh's D'Coopage

The chickens have had to take a bit of a back seat to children recently. They dislike their routine being disrupted.
Here are my 2 Littlies, Alpia & Wrold, arriving for their food. I'm the Bees knees apparently. :D

Alpia decided some extra height was needed to gain the advantage.
I haven't had a lap hopper since Lottie.
Yes, I felt decidedly flattered that she chose to hop up on my knee before stuffing her face!

Most of the girls stop by my food station @ some point. Lots also like to get a little hand feeding too.

Lavender, the boofer, always hones in. It is easier pickings than hustling for a spot @ the main trough. The Campines are all gentle feeders & amongst those I'm happy to hand feed. Lavender & both Araucanas have nasty sharp beaks & I can't tolerate them for long. That's Aoife sharing with Alpia. Ha'penny had just finished off what was in my hand & was looking to oust someone.

Chickens are good at wearing us men down. 😆

My hubby is fond of our chickens. He’s still working from home and will tell me about chicken antics when I get home. He also tells me when someone squatted for him and he got a good pat in. :)

Those Campines really are beautiful. You have tamed them very quickly. This looks quite lovely. I'm very happy for you.

Lovely pics Ribh. It's nice to get chicken time again, so relaxing watching them do their chickeny things. 🥰
