I'm not sure who owns the Brown. Maybe Patricia as she has been fence hopping & Hepzibah has been laying in the nesting boxes.
Ha'penny is going to be really peeved with me.

Thank you I don't think I've ever seen our chickens do that I've seen them dust bathing which is interesting to see. Ill have to check your thread out if you don't mind

I found the nest before she went to lay.
There were 2 white eggs & a brown. Somebody besides Ha'penny has designs on sitting!
Summer hasn't even arrived yet. No, Shad. I am not flattered.
This is a right royal pain.

She is just the sneakiest of hens! I have such respect for her. It is hard to be so clever constantly and now she is recruiting others! I certainly would not mess with that momma if I did not have to do so.

This is one of the reasons others are interested in having some join their flocks.
