on the chance of plunging in your estimation, the only car I've ever been able to id is a VW. Everything else looks much of a muchness ~ unlike the sunset, which is lovely & unique! ;)

Today I did a deep clean of the coop. I've been waiting for some decent weather as soaking the whole thing means it takes quite a bit of time to dry & the nesting boxes are out of order. You've thought I'd handed the girls Christmas on a plate! There was leaf litter for the run; there was fresh sand for the dust bath; there was mulch in the coop run & all the cobwebs have been washed away with the accumulated grubbiness. Given how much they like a clean coop it's amazing the state they get it into! The dirt & dust was incredible & it will never be really, really clean again but it is fresh ~ & hopefully dry & the girls are appreciating it ~ which hasn't stopped the fence hoppers but @ least no~one is broody today!

They really are stealing my heart!!!
CCCL: what sort of personality do they have. They really are the most gorgeous looking birds & if I am ever in a position where I can have a rooster, these are what I am aiming for! The super long tailed guys aren't available out here & I suspect they'd be high maintenance.

Aoife, Aoife, Aoife...🙄

There was an old feed bag covering it ~ which I removed.
She's not broody but the alternative nesting boxes obviously weren't to her liking.

All for 1 lovely little white egg!
