History has already been changed. Sadly, the history you learn in school is not nearly as accurate as you would want it to be. Then when you consider what people believe to be true as "common knowledge", well its gets frustrating.I've come to realize that it's extremely important to know true history as there are factions that want to change it!
I spent a large amount of effort in correcting my children's education as they went through school. Everything taught is schools is too simplistic and slanted to a single point of view. Right and wrong and such. History is actually rarely so black and white. It requires you to think and understand complex concepts.
