Oh I like sci-fi as well. But something of the charm was gone. Somehow she wound up making the world less interesting by turning it into sci-fi. I can't explain it but somehow I would up disappointed.

She really did take it in a different direction, but I still enjoyed it!

History has already been changed. Sadly, the history you learn in school is not nearly as accurate as you would want it to be. Then when you consider what people believe to be true as "common knowledge", well its gets frustrating.

I spent a large amount of effort in correcting my children's education as they went through school. Everything taught is schools is too simplistic and slanted to a single point of view. Right and wrong and such. History is actually rarely so black and white. It requires you to think and understand complex concepts.

I agree, it has definitely been changed! That is part of the reason we pulled our children out of the public education system, we could see how broken it had become & 20 years later it's only gotten worse. We decided early in our marriage that I would be a stay at home mom, so it was an easy switch for me & I loved teaching & having my children at home! There are a lot of awesome teachers out there, but sadly the education is definitely slanted!
