Donk is between five and six years old and I think knock is threeish.
I don't have the hard drive with the info on to hand to give an exact age. So not old really.

Yes, I'm a bass fan. My cousin is a mezzo soprano & to me operatic soprano is like nails down a chalk board. Not a fan @ all.

Our GKs have been sick so today I was babysitting on the mainland. This never makes me happy but less so when the flock has been upset. Still it couldn't be helped & I figured the girls would still get some truncated run & keeper time. It didn't happen. My lad has done his shoulder again ~ the same one he's been dislocating since high school so now reconstructive surgery is a must & he began the process off this afternoon as I was round to mind the kiddies.

I rushed home & threw feed in tubs, fresh water in waterers but had no time to sit with anyone before it was fully dark. I toddled out to check everyone was roosted to find Desdemona waiting for me in the run & Olivia promptly landed on my shoulder. It would seem I have been missed.

Hopefully tomorrow they will all get a full day in the run & plenty of me time.

She really is. If I'm round @ roosting she always tries to convince me my shoulder is a good option for the night! And I have to pay close attention to where I put my feet as she is usually underfoot. Desdemona is the talker but Olivia wants to be with me. It's rather flattering...

I find it so funny as I wasn't a bantam fan @ all until I owned them ~ or was owned by them. But my bantams ~ every last one of them~ have been the friendliest characters & the sweetest natured.

It is sweet to be missed. I also hope that for you, there will be some together time with them. They do care for you.

Maybe... I was thinking it was more a matter of they miss their run time.
