I received my Lavender & guard duck mug 2 days ago, they weren't supposed to arrive until next week! I'm getting quite a collection! The duck mug has the duck upended in water on the inside...very creative!

MJ & Shadrach! There was a name with the picture of the snake. It's an Elaphe sclararis or Ladder Snake...non-venemous! I was curious too!

No. No cure. Some antiseptic cream for the lesions. My flock does tend to get it because we are heavily infected with mosquitoes but I've never seen one of my chooks quite this bad.

Treacle has got mild fowl pox now. None of the others have caught it from him so far.

Someone here usually has some mild pox. One of the drawbacks to living here is the amount & variety of mosquitoes. They are in big clouds @ times & impossible to keep away from the birds.
