Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning & Happy Coffee Klatch Wednesday Wherever...that is a mouthful to say, but I think I have it right this time...lol

As I stated, it will take both my Lavender and Shad mug to keep my morning tea at it's normal level! The mug in the background is what I normally use...:D

Thanks for putting everyone in one shot Rene! :hugs It really is lovely to see everyone's mugs together. Sue, that is a very yummy looking breakfast! Kat, I'm so glad your mug is here & you can join in. Bob, that is a good looking rooster you're viewing there. ;)

I should have waited a little bit, so that I could get Bob in there too! :)

Sounds like you are having more than your fair share of misery Ribh. ☹️:hugs

I hope a fresh Autumn breeze arrives soon to drive off all the damp and brings with it crisp, dry Autumn days.
We often get a fair bit of rain @ this time of year. Having sick birds is one thing. Knowing what to do about it makes me far happier.

They're miserable, poor things, but when I noticed Desdemona showing similar symptoms I immediately pulled her thinking how nice it would be for Ceres to have company.

Perish the thought!
All this guff about chickens being social! They have discerning friendships.
Ceres has never run with Desdemona. My Desi is a quiet accommodating little chicken who is not adverse to being handled & takes her medications with good grace trusting I am trying to help her. Her friend of choice is Portia, my large B&W frizzle Wyandotte. Portia prefers Gloriana, no matter how mean she is to her. Ceres runs with Titania, who shares her feisty, flighty atomic presence & she is peeved no end to find Desdemona sharing her space. She has a nastier case of the pox too & is jolly miserable. We are not on top of the coccidea either & Ceres hates the Baycox. She won't eat bread it's on. She won't drink water it's in. She fights like a demon if I try syringing it. The sooner the Amprolium arrives the better!
Meanwhile I have to fish Ceres off the top of the shower stall each night, where she tries to roost as far away from Desdemona as possible & I am wondering how many more chickens my bathroom will be forced to accomodate before we are done with the pox. So far no~one else is showing symptoms. :fl

They do not look well!:(

He's such a handsome boyo. 🤗 I'm sure all the ladies are smitten. I know I am.🥰
The Ladies; not that there are any here, won't have anything to do with him.
They all know he's just a youngun and screech and fight if he tries to grab them. :D In the chicken world it seems, there are advantages to being an old man,
