I know she's not a cat but I love her dearly.
Her name is Tarot and she will be 14 years old this year. She is "my" dog and loves me almost as much as she loves food.
She is going deaf and blind and, I suspect, senile but she still follows me everywhere ....unless someone else has food.
She sits under the desk at my feet whenever I am on the computer.
Reminds me of your other newbies! The Newbies are still trying to figure out bedtime.

I just need to build a removable bump out for the electrical boxes and I'm done.
That is something. They sure are clever aren't they.
It is actually a really difficult problem is coop building.I'm sorry, @BY Bob. That must have been a message I missed.
There were a lot of things I didn't realise when we built the coop. Everyone talks about space & ventilation ~ Oh, & cleaning. I wanted to be able to clean under the roosts easily.. No~one talks about the social aspects so I had no idea I was making a status symbol. Those on the top roost have the most status. I have no idea how Olivia & Titania manage to roost there so often!
Plus I didn't consider the effects of aging & moulting on the hens ability to access all the roosts. I wouldn't build it this way now but @ the time I liked it because it gave heaps of floor space & lots of roosting options. I still like that about it but the drawbacks are quite significant ~ so no, MJ, a high U will not solve my problem.![]()
I've been quite surprised here at just how many men are completely gaga over their chickens. I've mentioned before, here chicken keeping seems to be mainly a male thing. Thanks, MJ. I'm fond of all of them. The man rolled his eyes a lot when I said I wanted pretty birds but he's got the picture now!![]()
