Ribh's D'Coopage

It's been one of those days.
I've had a few girls I've been a bit concerned about but between the weather & other things it has been impossible to investigate. Last night Morrigu roosted on the 2nd rail. This is so unlike her I was immediately concerned & watched her like a hawk while I was cleaning out the coop today. Her tail was down somewhat & she wasn't as active as she normally is & off by herself more than usual so in she came for electrolytes, probiotics, worm tablet & mite dusting. That I could even catch her without any drama says she's definitely not herself.
That's toast crumbs under her, not poop.

Then Oshina & Titania both had poop clumping their fluffy butts so a trim was in order. I prefer to trim rather than wash because it stops it happening again until they get their rear ends sorted.
Ceres has seemed off for several days ~ but not sick ~so she was the next one out. Electrolytes & Pesterene dusting because I found a couple of mites on her. Hopefully that's everyone now sorted & I don't have major dramas developing.
Her comb looks very pale too. She seems to be enjoying her snack. She's almost washing her face in it! 🤣
Is it yoghurt?

She's so sweet. šŸ¤—šŸ„°
I'm really enjoying your individual introductions. I'd love it if you were able to collect them all together in one place. Maybe a special article when you have finished? Then I could dip in and re-read them any time. ā¤ļø
I'll see what I can do, ACM. :)

Yes yoghurt with her dinner. Her comb always looks a bit pale & dry. I'm more worried it is looking purplish. Her poops are milky so she's inside with me & not the least happy about it but I need to monitor her until her poops look better. I've got some left over antibiotics I may use until /if I need the vet.

I hope it's nothing serious and she feels better in the morning. :fl

You get onto things quickly and decisively. I admire how you manage your girls. You are a great chook mum. :hugs:hugs

Good evening everyone 😊😓

Olivia is a snuggle buggle.
I am her favourite perch.

I'll admit, I've been looking forward to Olivia's week šŸ’—. She is your little cuddler and there is something about her that just calls to me.

lol, yes, the grooming is a little frightening when it gets close to the eyes.
That is true. The ear pecks are no fun either!

I do feel that I need to share now. It is wonderful to be hen pecked. šŸ˜†
