I thought the same thing!Their little faces are just too much
Adorable!Olivia making her way up the tree & onto the crossbar where she will wait patiently for her turn to be carried to bed. She chatters constantly. I think she likes being @ my eye level but she gets anxious as she sees everyone else disappear into the shed while she is still waiting. I usually do her last as it's a good excuse for a little cuddle & a bedtime story ~ her to me.View attachment 3244525
Sounds like she will make a great momma! I will be following with interest. It's so fun to enjoy a vicarious hatch !The bantams don't seem to break eggs. I had 2 lots of 3 last year ~ & no broken eggs. The girl I need to sit will choose her spot & no~one will mess with her. She's tiny but fierce!
I'm trying hard to be sympathetic. You know you brought this on yourself, right? If your place wasn't deemed as a safe and wonderful place to bring children into the world, they wouldn't go broody so often. You are just too darn good to them! The joke never gets old for you, does it @BY Bob? Have some pity on me. Today is only the 2nd day of our spring & a couple of these girls are about to max out their 21 days.
Such a special relationship. Just wonderful.Olivia making her way up the tree & onto the crossbar where she will wait patiently for her turn to be carried to bed. She chatters constantly. I think she will be a fantastic mum. She's one of the smartest birds in the flock.Sounds like she will make a great momma! I will be following with interest. It's so fun to enjoy a vicarious hatch !
Right! They are spoilt rotten & then some!I'm trying hard to be sympathetic. You know you brought this on yourself, right? If your place wasn't deemed as a safe and wonderful place to bring children into the world, they wouldn't go broody so often. You are just too darn good to them!
You have your own very special relationships developing with Glynda & Gucci. BTW, I have discovered how to herd cats! I watched a bunch of my gals round up Marlow & herd him home yesterday!Such a special relationship. Just wonderful.
