The 1st week of spring & I already have my 1st little pancaker! She's been sitting for a couple of weeks already but not being the most aggressive chicken is regularly kicked off the nest & mostly is trying to hatch fake eggs. Chavi & Ceres have been sharing a nest but this morning Wrold kicked them both off so she could sit on the 2 eggs. They were most put out!​

It's just spring but already quite warm. Silly girl! She's tried on & off all winter. Quite chronic.

Interesting walk today.
Pretty sure this is a pair of King Parrots. I've never seen them before so was pretty excited.

This nest must have come down in the evening storms. How clever is this little birdie? She's nicked some batting from somewhere to line her vine foundation.

Then we were plover swooped because the neighbour's massive mean dog was out so I went down the other side of the street, pretty sure bubs had to be about but unable to spot her. Finally saw her hunkered down by a grate pretending to be part of a pile of leaves.​

Looks like my bed isn't getting made this morning! Someone has moved in & is moving for nobody!

The other one has the armchair & is also firmly ensconced!

Umm. Whose bed? I think you may have misunderstood the bed ownership rules.
You have a useful function which is to warm up the bed for its main occupant. Hopefully this clarifies things.
