Ribh's D'Coopage

Marlow whinged for 20 minutes before deciding napping took care of all the trauma. Ash persisted for 45, then napped under protest. Every time I stopped she had another go! Kirby was as good as gold from the get go, as always, & the chookies are never any problem.
Still we are here, safe & sound. Ash & Kirby are still holed up in the pantry but Marlow has joined me on the air mattress.

Great news!

At present the only secure fencing is the front yard - which isn't optimum as there's very little shelter & the fencing is low. I expected trouble with Ha'penny, who is my chronic fence hopper, but no. Chavi was my troublemaker. I kept finding her in the road or the next door yard eyeballing their cats. At least she only fussed the 1st day.
Everyone thinks they should be allowed inside.

Meanwhile Tootsie somehow managed to get under the house but couldn't find her way back out.🙄
Ha'penny did jump the fence the 2nd day because she wanted to follow me but totally panicked & was relieved to be shuffled back with everyone else.

I think one of them is pooping in that picture...

Just for sharing. Bc your move and fencing reminded me of ours.

Almost 20 years ago when we moved to our present house we had rabbits and made a temporary fence for our 2 rabbits so they didn’t have to stay in the small cage all day.

They escaped a few times before their new fenced outdoor space was ready. Sometime later we suddenly had baby rabbits. 🤣. A male wild rabbit did what rabbits are famous for.

My children had the time of their life.

You could also teach them the Fibonacci sequence.
