Ribh's D'Coopage

Chick number 2 is out.

She looks a lot healthier than the last one.
I was dubious.
When I checked the eggs last night the shell had pipped but the inner membrane was intact. No sound. No movement. I debated intervening but decided best to let nature take its course.

She is a very pretty chick.

Meanwhile, Wrold's Anixe is half grown & nearly as big as mum.

Glad it's nice and healthy! Is there one more egg?

She really has grown. I really love her coloring! 💞

She has another 2 that are not doing anything.
Anixe has some spectacular colouring. I thought @ 1st she was one of Cobweb's eggs but she has the Wyandotte yellow legs & dark colouring so I actually think she is Wrold's biological chick. Alpia, also a Wyandotte bantam, has much lighter colouring.

Have you tried to candle the eggs? I hope you get more. Any baby hatched from your flock is going to be stunning! 💞
