rice pudding recipes?... any help

Do you eat rice pudding warm? Cold? Room temp? Haha, I've never had it, but I have fresh goats milk and eggs, so I thought I'd try it. Thanks!
Rice pudding can be eaten warm, cold, or at room temperature. Doesn't matter. Whatever temperature is most convenient and suits your fancy at the time.

Here is a creamy rice pudding that does not use any eggs.

GERMAN RICE PUDDING

1/2 cup regular rice 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups boiling water 1 tsp vanilla
3 cups milk ground cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar

Add rice to boiling water in 2 qt saucepan. Bring to a boil again. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until all the water is absorbed. Stir in milk. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and salt. Continue cooking 20 more minutes or until mixture is creamy. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm, sprinkled with cinnamon. We like it cold, too.
I made this today!!!! It was very easy to make. I've never had rice pudding before, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I liked how it tasted too. I do prefer it cold though... Thanks for sharing the recipe Cassie!

Glad you liked it. I found the recipe in one of my old Farm Journal cookbooks. It is even better after a day or two.
