Rich food for the sick

To anyone who has a hens that won't eat and needs to keep going I know a really rich, safe food for them. First you take a boiled egg yolk or two and mash them. Then, add a bit water bit by bit until it's the texture of thick soup. After that get a needleless syringe and fill it. Finally coax the bird's mouth open and squirt it in. Thank you for the info. A drop of poultry nutri drench helps as well.

Good to know, I just got five chicks from a guy that gives me chicks where the mother was killed and they really aren't going to survive on their own...one was so cold I thought he was dead..but now he's warm and actually holding his head up while sleeping. I gave him a drop of sugar water and he will occasionally open eyes and hop a tiny bit...maybe hope yet..am hard boiling an egg right now.
