Ridley Bronze Turkey Hatch-A-Long (Saskatchewan Rivers/Lakes Theme 🛶🏖️)

Pics
Update:
So this round was a fail …I think humidity is my issue (had issues with my Guinea fowl as well). Ended the round with 55.6% fertility and 0% hatch rate. 😬🙁
So I am taking a break from turkeys until next year. I have 4 from my last hatch that I am happy to have. But hopefully I will get some Ridley Bronze eggs to hatch next time…
I am going to work on my humidity over the next couple days. Then hopefully set more Guinea eggs.

But here is a picture of the turkeys from my last set. At least I know I haven’t completely failed this year at hatching…

They look good. I'm sorry for the failed hatch again.

Which incubator do you have? Maybe one of us has experience with it and has some tricks?

It is a Borotto 49 (https://borotto.com/en/prodotto/real-49-automatic-patented-professional/)

I was just reading about the testing for the new Brinsea Ovation 56 EX connect…that is pretty amazing!
Wow, those egg trays are cool, built in flexibility, someone was thinking on that one! Hmm, I'm not familiar with Borotto, hopefully someone else on this thread is. Have you tracked the temperature and humidity with a secondary device?

Yes! The new Connect is pretty neat! I'll be setting eggs in it this Saturday morning :wee being able to check the current temp and humidity I think is going to be good for me. I'm one of those high anxiety chicken keepers  with the wifi I'll be able to watch the thermo-hygrometers and if I think a setting needs to be adjusted I can just do that from wherever, no need to rush home and check the incubator all the time 😁 I mean, I'm pretty sure I'll still run down and physically check it as soon as I get home, but....

It is quite neat…I have the device to automatically add water, so going to try to see if I can use that to help with the next batch.

That sounds awesome! I look forward to hearing about the test, good luck on the inaugural hatch. 😊
