Siobhan set her up to come to the Hamptons so she could fake her death knowing that Bridgette would take her place. Then Siobhan hired a hit man to kill Bridgette but she killed the hit man instead. Siobhan is working with Charlie (the NYC NA sponsor) to keep an eye on Bridgette and Charlie is responsible for Gemma's disappearance. Charlie was also responsible for planting the idea in Bridgette's head to escape from custody in the first place.​

In one of the episodes she tried to apologize to Siobhan for something she had done involving a person with a masculine name. Siobhan put a quick stop to the conversation and looked uncomfortable. Later, Bridgette was going through some things and found a picture of Siobhan and a child. The back of the picture had Siobhan and (that same name). I'm betting during her really bad years with drugs she did something that either killed Siobhan's son or got him taken away. Also, there is a lot of animosity on Siobhan's side from having to clean up Bridgette's messes and having to care for her all the time. Siobhan seems a little sociopathic to me. She did have a long affair with her best friend's husband and talked about "getting rid" of their spouses.​

Yeah, she did seem to have a little bit of a dark side about her.
But I didn't know that about the child! Wow. I wonder if that's why Bridget was talking about all the horrible things "her sister" had done to her with Andrew...

I think that might have something to do with it. She seems to be carrying a substantial amount of guilt. I think that's why she has stuck around so long. She's trying to fix her sister's life for her before she goes. I'm waiting for things to heat up some more with Andrew. He's yummy!
