Ringneck Chicks wont stop playing in water !

So My Ringneck Pheasant chicks are 2 days old, i keep about an inch of water in the waterer but they seem to think they are ducks... even with marbles in it the still get soaking wet . its funny in a way but was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this same situation ? TIA

Silly pheasants! Just make sure they dry off properly so they don't become too cold, I don't think I can help you anymore than that, sorry!

lol thanks they are still under the brooder light they get wet then go dry off then start all over i have raised chicks since i was a kid just never pheasants . didnt know they liked water so much !

Try putting their water dish up a little higher.I use 2- 2x3 pieces about 4" long and put their water on top so they have to reach up to drink.
