You referring to my other video on YouTube? How can you say that just curious being there only a few months old and haven't even feathered out all the way....According to alot of people there arent any pure breed Goldens? Got these from a man here locally and he claims there RG were born this spring 2010 haven't feathered out all the way yet. Please feel free to comment let me know what you think this is my first year with raising RG Pheasants
The last link of the two birds pacing; the smaller bird is a red golden or a variation, but the larger bird looks to me like a ring-neck hybrid of some sort.
I HATE TO SAY IT BUT I THINK OLD DUKE IS AT LEAST PARTIALLY CORRECT. THEY CERTAINLY ARENT 100% RED GOLDEN. I BELEIVE THE SMALLER 1 TO BE A HEN AND THE DIFFERENCE VISUALLY IS LESS, SO SHE DOESNT LOOK SO OFF, THE THE COCK THAT PACING IS WAY OFF. I COULDNT SAY FOR SURE WHAT SPECULATION HIS LINEAGE IS BUT RING NECK MAY NOT BE OUT OF THE QUESTION--- HE HAS THE RINGNECK CAP AND OTHER MARKING THAT DEFINATELY MAKE HIM SUSPECT.

The 2nd clip looks like a golden ringneck cross.
