Rinsing eggs before refrigerating?

I just rinse them, because mine almost ALWAYS have poop on them, we rinse them with water straight away, then they go in the fridge... is this wrong??

The hen naturally secretes an antibacterial that covers the egg, keeping it fresh. The primary benefit is to keep the developing chick safe, but we get the benefit of freshness. No need to refrigerate unless you wash them. Once again, leave nature alone, and it works out just fine. We never refrigerate our eggs, and wash only right before we use them. Cool, huh?

I leave mine out, and if for some reason, haven't used
them, will wash and then put in frig. I will wash before
using. And, if giving them away, or selling, will wash and
refrig.
