One of our parakeets, Doshalosh (my son named him) dies today of unknown causes. Shown here after enjoying his spray millet. Poor little guy.
 
Maybe it was old and you didn't know it, sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss and your son,
I hope you remenber all the happy times together, I bet he couldn't have a better life other then with his flock (humans) your family
