Your neighbors better keep their dogs where they belong and not messing with Hector.
Those poor little ones miss him too! I am so sorry!

You know what I do to keep critters away from a little pets grave, [I just buried one of my pet bunnies well he was a rabbit but I always call them bunnies, anyways, I pour bleach all around it and everywhere, they get a whiff of some strong bleach in their noses they should stay away! I hope!

We had a similar problem with our neighbor's dogs too. First time we buried something back there I found these two digging at it. I got some real heavy cement bricks and laid down nice markers for everyone... A little bleach wouldn't hurt too, or some Simple Green.

Well. We went to bed. Last night they dug him up. It was horrible. My brother put everything back into his grave. They must have gotten distracted before they did too much damage. Mom is calling AC on the dogs. Strike 3, they're out.

Update. The neighbors dogs (5 great danes) are at animal control. They've killed peoples cats, and tear up our garbage daily. They bite, so you're afraid to get em away. AC took them and they are talking to mom. My brother has actually been... helpful.... Wow. He reburied him 4' down, about double the first time. We covered it with rocks that we got and put gates around. The dogs can climb fences, so we'll pray they don't come back.

Wow 5 Great Danes!! That must be a sight to see! I'm sorry they disturbed poor little Hector, that's bad!!! Glad you have things fixed up, I wonder if a BB gun would have helped them to stay away, I suppose not when you consider the size of the dog and the bbs.
It's really sad when people don't take care of their animals! Killed kitties that is horrible!!!!!!!!!!
